International Humor

(Warning: Contains explicit language, but if you don't take it too seriously, it's pretty funny how this well-meaning Spanish instructor teaches her snobby, selfish "Stepford" wives a thing or two about humility)

There's LOADS of jokes where the downtrodden have the last word over the patron. A classic joke where the maid has the last laugh:

Just after the maid was fired, she took $20 from her purse and threw it to the family dog.
When asked why she gave the dog $20, she answered, "I never forget a friend. This was for her help in licking the dishes clean."

Infidel jokes are vastly becoming some of the most widely circulated jokes on the Internet. I came across a pretty funny website, The Life and Times of Ahmed & Mohammed, which has compiled scads of links for the Islamic Extremist, including an Interactive Security Desk, Infidel humor, helpful tools such as a Fake ID Generator and an Easy Faith Converter, and a comic strip.

My favorite terrorist, of course, is Jeff Dunham's Achmed the Dead Terrorist:

When Googling the words, "international humor," I came across The International Society for Humor Studies (ISHS), a scholarly and professional organization dedicated to the advancement of humor research. This is an absolutely superb assemblage of gifted thinkers focused on humor theory.
The ISHS draws from a wide range of academic backgrounds (anthropology, biology, computer science, education, family science, film studies, history, linguistics, literature, mathematics, medicine, philosophy, physiology, psychology, and sociology) and beyond their aims and scope seem to be dedicated to helping even the 'nerdy' types "get it."
